The epicenter was about 40 km deep in the waters off Fukushima Prefecture.

A 6.6-magnitude earthquake jolted the southern area of Fiji on July 29. The epicenter was the southern waters.

An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale jolted Guam region in the West Pacific on Saturday. The epicenter was the southwestern waters.
