Pyongyang, August 4 (KCNA) -- DPRK Premier Choe Yong Rim acquainted himself with the work of major industrial establishments on Tuesday and Wednesday.

He looked round the May 18 large forging plant of the Chollima Steel Complex, the combined processing shop No. 1 of the Taean Heavy Machine Complex, the large truck assembling shop of the Sungri Motor Complex and other places and convened consultative meetings there.

The meetings discussed the issues of supplying more iron and steel to major construction sites including that of Mansudae area, speeding up the production of generating equipment to send them to the Huichon Power Station now close to completion and producing high-efficient trucks suited to the actual conditions of the DPRK to satisfactorily meet the increased demand of transportation in the different domains of national economy.
