Pyongyang, August 4 (KCNA) -- The Academy of Koryo Medicine has made a chart of meridian nerve points after making a research in the correlation between by the Kyongrak theory, an elementary theory of ancient medicine, and modern medicine.

The chart is based on over 360 acupuncture points squared in a scientific and theoretical way with some 200 motor points and innervation points, at least 30 spinal joints and peripheral nerve.

With the help of the chart, the academy applies acupuncture, moxibustion and physio-therapy to patients who suffer from spinal trouble.

This method mixed with Koryo intravenous is also available for cerebral thrombosis.

Most of the hospitals in the DPRK have Koryo medicine departments.
