Beijing, August 3 (KCNA) -- Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao recently called for taking measures to ensure labor safety.

Presiding over a State Council meeting, Wen said labor safety is related to lives and properties of the popular masses and to the reputation of the party and government.

The meeting adopted a decision to strengthen the work for labor safety in traffic, coal mining and construction sectors.
