Pyongyang, August 4 (KCNA) -- Zhou Changkui, a member of the Secretariat of the C.C., the Communist Youth League of China, recently called for promoting youth political participation at a UN high-level meeting on youth.

In order to facilitate common development of the world, it is necessary to expand the scope of young people's political participation and encourage them to take part in the modernization process of their countries, Zhou said.
