Havana, August 3 (KCNA) -- Cuban people on July 30 cherished the memory of people who fell in the struggle against Batista's dictatorship.

Fidel Castro, leader of the Cuban revolution, and Raul Castro, president of the Council of State of Cuba, placed wreaths before the martyrs' cemetery in Santiago de Cuba.

Thousands of people marched from Cespedes Park to the cemetery to pay tribute to the martyrs.
