US Forces' Burial of Defoliant Slammed in S. Korea

Pyongyang, August 5 (KCNA) -- Hwang Son, chief of the strike group for peace in south Korea, condemned the hair-raising burial of defoliant by the U.S. imperialist aggression forces in south Korea. In an interview with Internet paper Jaju Minbo on July 30 Hwang noted that the group was formed on July 26 to probe the truth about the U.S. forces' burial of defoliant and has since staged a protest strike outside the U.S. military base in Waegwan. The U.S. forces' burial of defoliant fundamentally revealed south Korea's humiliating relations with the U.S., Hwang stated, and went on: The fact that people's existence and life are decided by foreign troops clearly shows south Korea is a colony of the U.S. The U.S. and south Korean authorities are busy evading a proper probe into the truth of the defoliant burial and concealing the case. It is hard to probe the truth in the society where a thief raises a hue and cry, so it will be probed by popular masses as was done when the "Cheonan" warship sinking case occurred. The defoliant issue is not pertinent only to the inhabitants in Waegwan. To put an end to the unequal relations with the U.S. is an important matter anyone should not turn aside. |
