Pyongyang, August 5 (KCNA) -- Officials in the field of fishery and employees of the Bureau for the Management of Pelagic Fishing held a meeting at the Sinpho Fishery Station Friday before going out for pelagic fishing this year.

The reporter and speakers at the meeting renewed their resolution to conduct pelagic fishing this year in a bold and big manner to boost the fish haul for people.

They said they would conduct dynamic fishing operations and boost the fish catch to the maximum by keeping scientific fish shoal detecting ahead of netting and successfully ensuring the coordinated operations among fishing boats to suit fishing grounds.

They vowed to return home with big fish haul flags flying from deep seas and thus contribute to the building of a rich and powerful country.
