Pyongyang, August 5 (KCNA) -- The spokesman for the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) condemned the Israeli forces for the killing of Palestinians on Monday.

Israeli troops raided a refugee camp in the West Bank and shot dead two Palestinians early in the morning.

"This is an Israeli attempt to create an atmosphere of escalation before September," said the spokesman, referring to the month in which the Palestinians will ask the United Nations to vote on their state.

He strongly urged the Israeli authorities to stop killing Palestinians at once.
