Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- The Mexican paper Unidad Nacional July 31 carried a special write-up on a whole page under the title of "With Superb Guerilla Strategy" with a photo of President Kim Il Sung commanding the Pochonbo Battle. It was carried on the 66th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

It said on August 15, 1945 the Korean people were liberated from the military occupation of the Japanese imperialists, adding the liberation of Korea was the victory of the President's superb guerilla war methods.

The outstanding strategy of the President was clearly proved by the Pochonbo Battle fought in June 1937, it noted, stressing it ended in the victory of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army in a brief span of time under his wise command.

The battle was of great significance as it imbued the Korean people with the confidence that Korea was not dead but alive and they were sure to achieve the national independence and liberation if they fought, it said, and continued:

The President won victory after victory in many battles fought by dint of superb and rare war methods during the anti-Japanese war. Finally he crushed Japanese imperialism and achieved the historic cause of Korea's liberation.

The feats performed by him in liberating Korea will always go down in the world history of national liberation struggle in colonies.
