Three Charters for Korea's Reunification Supported by Benin Personage

Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- Hessou Kohovi, chairman of Benin-Korea Amicable Association "Long Live Kim Jong Il, Supreme Leader" and Benin National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea and of General Kim Jong Il's Work issued a statement on August 1 to mark the 14th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's work "Let Us Carry Out the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung's Instructions for National Reunification."

It said the three charters for national reunification formulated by Kim Jong Il are indicating the way to be followed by the Korean people in their struggle for national reunification as they have great vitality.

It is the most realistic way for reunification to establish a federal-style unified state of the nation based on the theory of one nation, one state, two systems and two governments. The reunification of Korea can come true only when an atmosphere of confrontation between the north and south is removed and an environment of peace and reconciliation is created, it noted.

It urged the south Korean authorities to stop such belligerent actions as recklessly hurting the dignity of the leadership and the inviolable system of the DPRK and perpetrating military provocations against it in collusion with the U.S.

It extended firm support and solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle to implement the three charters for national reunification--the three principles of national reunification, the ten-point program of the great unity of the whole nation and the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo.
