Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- Japanese automakers are suffering losses due to economic depression.

Toyoda Motor Co. Monday quoted survey data as saying that the group net profit for the April-June quarter dropped 99.4 percent from a year earlier.

Honda Motor Co. said Monday its group net profit for the April-June quarter plunged 88.3 percent from a year earlier.

Daihatsu Motor Co. said Monday its group net profit in the first quarter of fiscal 2011 plummeted 65.8 percent from a year earlier.
