Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- Yasser Abed Rabbo, general secretary of the PLO Executive Committee, exposed the vicious attempt of Israel on Monday.

That day Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that he was prepared to accept a Palestinian state within pre-1967 borders.

The general secretary branded Netanyahu's remarks as a crafty move to make the Palestinian National Authority cancel its plans to ask for a United Nations vote on an independent state of Palestine next month and to recognize Israel as the home of Jews.

He strongly demanded the Israeli authorities end their occupation of the Palestinian territories and stop at once the construction of Jewish settlements.
