New Delhi, August 5 (KCNA) -- Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Monday appealed to opposition parties to come together and tackle problems facing the country.

"It is our sincere desire that this session should run smoothly and Parliament should discuss all issues of national importance and the government is quite prepared for any subject which the Opposition would like to be taken up," he said before addressing the parliament.

He also called on all political parties to unite with each other.
