Pyongyang, August 8 (KCNA) -- Nigerian President Mahamadou Issoufou called for national reconciliation in his message to the nation on the independence day on August 3.

The message referred to the shining feats performed by the earlier generations to emancipate the people from colonialism.

It stressed that all the people should remember their feats and reconcile with each other.
