Pyongyang, August 9 (KCNA) -- The Indonesian Federation of Transport Workers Unions on August 3 issued a statement on the 14th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's work "Let Us Carry Out the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung's Instructions for National Reunification".

The statement expressed firm support and solidarity with the Korean people in their positive efforts to achieve the reunification of the country and regional peace and stability.

The three charters for national reunification formulated by Kim Jong Il serve as guidelines for Korea's reunification as they reflect the willingness of all the Koreans and the reality of the north and the south, the statement said.

The efforts of the Korean people for national reunification at present are facing grave difficulties due to the U.S. and the south Korean authorities' escalated confrontation racket against the DPRK, it noted.

It demanded the U.S. and the south Korean authorities cancel their hostile policy toward the DPRK at once, stop the war maneuvers against the DPRK and arms buildup, respect the historic June 15 joint declaration and opt for implementing it.
