Pyongyang, August 9 (KCNA) -- Violent acts are rampant at Japanese schools, sparking off a social issue.

The number of bullying cases recognized by public and private primary, junior high and high schools across Japan in the 2010 school year that ended in March this year rose 3.5 percent from a year earlier to 75 295 cases, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology survey showed Thursday.
