Moscow, August 8 (KCNA) -- Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin Wednesday expressed his position of not allowing the redrawing of federal subjects' boundary lines.

Speaking at a meeting with representatives of youth organizations, Putin said Russia is fraught with 2 000 cases of potential territorial disputes, including those among some North Caucasian republics, but such disputes should never be allowed to break out in Russia.

The redrawing may touch off series of territorial disputes in the country, he added.
