Pyongyang, August 10 (KCNA) -- An organization of Germany and personages of Sweden and Democratic Congo fully supported the three charters for national reunification on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's work "Let Us Carry Out the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung's Instructions for National Reunification".

The German Branch of the Korean Friendship Association on August 4 issued a statement saying that President Kim Il Sung laid down lines for national reunification in his lifetime, providing precious guidelines for achieving the reunification of the country.

The statement said that Kim Jong Il formulated the three principles of national reunification, the 10-point programme for the great unity of the whole nation and the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo as the three charters for national reunification, making it possible to eternally glorify the immortal exploits the President performed for the reunification movement.

The statement called on the international community to positively support the Korean people in their struggle for reunifying their country by their own efforts free from outside interference.

Christer Lundgren, chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, in his statement on the same day said that it is important to conclude a peace treaty between the DPRK and the United States and improve the inter-Korean relations in the direction of achieving national reunification.

The Korean people's cause of national reunification has enjoyed full support of the world progressive people, the statement noted.

The national secretary in charge of international relations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Democratic Congo in his statement expressed full support for the proposals advanced by the President and Kim Jong Il and the efforts of the Workers' Party of Korea and its people to realize them.
