Pyongyang, August 10 (KCNA) -- Pracheachon, the organ of the People's Party of Cambodia, on August 4 carried a special write-up with a photo of President Kim Il Sung on the 66th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

The paper in an article headlined "President Kim Il Sung's Feats Performed for Liberating Korea Will Shine Forever " said that the President achieved the cause of Korea's liberation through a 15 year-long anti-Japanese armed struggle.

The liberation of Korea was a historic event as it brought about a dramatic change in the destiny of the Korean people and the birth of socialist Korea, the paper noted.

A popular country, a powerful socialist state, the first of its kind in the Korean nation's history spanning five thousand years was built in Korea, it said, adding the feats the President performed for liberating Korea would shine long along with prospering socialist Korea.
