Pyongyang, August 10 (KCNA) -- A deputy spokesperson for the French Foreign Ministry on August 5 accused Israel of its plan to expand Jewish settlements.

The Israeli authorities on August 4 decided to construct some 900 new homes in East Kuds. In this regard the deputy spokesperson said "We call on Israel to reconsider this decision, whose implementation would increase tensions and throw more difficulties in the way of resuming negotiations between Palestine and Israel".

She urged the Israeli authorities to retract the decision at once.
