Moscow, August 9 (KCNA) -- The Russian Foreign Ministry on August 6 accused Israel of its continued moves to build Jewish settlements.

Recently the Israeli authorities decided to construct about 900 Jewish housing units. The Russian Foreign Ministry termed it Israeli attempt to secure the results of Palestine-Israel talks on the final position in its favor.

Russia has already expressed more than once its stand against Israel's stepped up construction of settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories, it said, urging Israel to stop building the settlements.
