Pyongyang, August 10 (KCNA) -- Scientists of the Central Laboratory of State Academy of Sciences in the DPRK succeeded in researching into amino acid-microelement fertilizer in an indigenous manner. It is now in wide use. This is a chemical combination of composite amino acid extracted from feathers of poultry such as hen and duck and dozens of microelements extracted from Kumgang medical stone and rare-earth elements. It is easy to apply the fertilizer everywhere as its production process is simple and its production cost is low. The scientists conducted researches and established rational methods of production and use and proved its economic efficiency on several farms of the country. It has been applied to farming at more than 80 units. As a result, they boosted the yield of rice, maize and vegetables, while cutting down the amount of chemical fertilizer 30-50 percent. They, at the same time, applied it to seed processing, increasing the rate of germinating 7-10 percent while cutting down its time. |
