Pyongyang, August 10 (KCNA) -- The 63rd plenary meeting of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea took place in Pyongyang on Wednesday.

Present at the meeting were members and alternate members of the C.C., the UAWK and officials of the union's organizations in Pyongyang and local areas.

The meeting discussed the tasks for the union organizations to conduct a socialist emulation and mass movement which greatly help bringing about signal innovations in agricultural production in the run-up to the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung.

Ri Myong Gil, chairman of the C.C., the UAWK, made a report which was followed by speeches.
