Sea Bass Dishes Good for Health in Summer

Pyongyang, August 10 (KCNA) -- In Korea there is a saying, "Only seeing sea bass in July is enough for good health".

The saying means sea bass has a good effect on health in summer.

Sea bass comes up to river mouth to find something to eat from June to August.

The fish contains protein, oil, mineral matters, calcium, vitamin A and fatty acid.

Sea bass dishes are soft, digestive and sweet-flavored, giving no smell of raw fish. They are efficacious for ageing and anemia.

According to old records, the fish helps pregnant women feel comfortable and refreshed. Sea bass soup is good for women in childbed in arresting bleeding and resting themselves.

In the hottest period of summer, public catering establishments draw many people for health food, including sea bass dishes.

Sea bass is usually taken in the way of steamed dish, soup and sliced raw fish. It is also diverse in processing method.
