Pyongyang, August 10 (KCNA) -- The Construction Engineering and Standards Institute, founded on August 7, Juche 50 (1961), specializes in studying and formulating construction-related regulations and standards.

The well-equipped institute also provides technological information service to the construction sector.

It, with many people honored with the title of Merited Scientist and academic degrees and titles, has applied several hundred pieces of regulations and standards to major construction projects, rendering scientific and technological assistance to them and giving much profit to the country.

Some of its inventions won prizes at the May 21 Architectural Festival, an annual event.
