Tehran, August 10 (KCNA) -- Iranian police successfully combated drug trafficking, confiscating some 8 685 kg of opium in Kerman Province.

Since the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2011), the local police managed to discover and confiscate over 30 tons of various narcotic drugs in Kerman province, a news report said.
