Pyongyang, August 11 (KCNA) -- Employees of Verizon communications Inc. staged a strike in the U.S. on August 7.

About 45 000 workers attended.

They strongly protested the company side for seeking benefits only, saying that they're asking workers to make concessions on things like healthcare, pensions and raises.
