Pyongyang, August 12 (KCNA) -- Russian Ambassador to the DPRK Valery E. Sukhinin Friday gave a reception at the Taedonggang Diplomatic Corps Club on the 66th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

Present there on invitation were Ri Ryong Nam, minister of Foreign Trade, Kung Sok Ung, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Kim Jin Bom, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, and officials concerned.

Present there were the Russian Orthodox Church delegation headed by Yegorievsk Archbishop Mark who is chairman of the Committee for Coordinating Overseas Institutions of the church and staff members of the Russian embassy here.

Speeches were made at the reception.
