Ad Exhibition Begins in DPRK

Pyongyang, August 12 (KCNA) -- A Pyongyang international exhibition of new products and trade advertisements opened Friday at the Pyongyang International Cultural Centre.

The centre houses samples of some 7 000 new products, including foodstuffs, daily necessities and food-processing machines, as well as their catalogues and trade and investment advertisements. The products were made on the basis of technologies of China and other countries.

Director of the Korean Advertisement Company Kim Hak told KCNA that the exhibition, to be held through the year, displays new goods and trade advertisements and provides favorable conditions for exchange of new products, joint venture, collaboration, investment and development.

The exhibition will be conducive to invigorating economic cooperation and trade among nations, he said.

It draws attention from local and foreign scientists, technicians and businessmen.
