Beijing, August 11 (KCNA) -- Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao presided over a State Council meeting on Tuesday to analyze the international financial situation and its consequences and study relevant measures.

The meeting, to cope with the serious condition of the international financial market, called for maintaining the continuity and stability of the macroeconomic policy, reducing the scope of price hike and promoting a stable and rapid economic growth.
