Pyongyang, August 12 (KCNA) -- Brazilian Finance Minister Guido Mantega said Monday the global economic crisis entered a "chronic phase", citing the U.S. failure to stimulate its economy and Europe's inability to solve its internal problems.

"The sharp falls in the stocks all over the world are caused by fears that the world is moving toward a recession", the minister said.
