Pyongyang, August 12 (KCNA) -- On display is a gem cutting craftwork at the International Friendship Exhibition House in the DPRK.

It is a gift the general manager of a Hong Kong business group presented to leader Kim Jong Il in November Juche 86 (1997).

The general manager was much touched by news stories that the leader was invariably pursuing popular policies though the DPRK was in a difficult economic condition.

The businessman decided to present a family treasure to him as a gift.

The craftwork, patterned with bird, crane and sea, contains wishes for the leader's good health.
