Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- The All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks of Russia posted a special write-up on its Internet homepage on August 6 on the 66th anniversary of Korea's liberation. It was interwoven with an article titled "August 15, 1945-Day of Korea's liberation" and a photo of the Arch of Triumph.

It was President Kim Il Sung who led the arduous struggle of the Korean people to liberate the country usurped by the Japanese imperialists, the article said.

He formed the Down-with-Imperialism Union in his early years, founded the Anti-Japanese People's Guerrilla Army and waged the anti-Japanese armed struggle, it noted.

The Pyongyang Mass Meeting was held on October 14, 1945 to welcome Kim Il Sung's triumphant return home, it said.

The Arch of Triumph imposingly standing in Pyongyang conveys the feats performed by him for liberating Korea to posterity, it stressed.
