Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- The number of people who have lost their jobs and become eligible for unemployment benefits since the March 11 earthquake and tsunami in the three hardest-hit prefectures of Japan totaled 144,568 as of the end of July, almost double the figure for the same period last year, local labor officials said Tuesday.
