Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- An event took place on Saturday to mark the fifth anniversary of the opening of Jongbaek Church.

Present there were officials concerned, a Russian Orthodox Church delegation headed by Yegorievsk Archbishop Mark who is chairman of the Committee for Coordinating Overseas Institutions of the church and the Russian ambassador to the DPRK and staff members of the embassy, staff members of foreign embassies and representatives of international organizations here.

Speeches were made at the event.

The Korean Orthodox Church Committee gave a reception on the same day.
