Moscow, August 12 (KCNA) -- Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said the well function of all chains of railway transport is one of prerequisites to healthy development of the Russian economy, enhancing of industrial potentials and implementation of the project for large-scale infrastructure.

He made the remark in a message he sent to railway workers on August 7 congratulating them on their holiday.

What is important in creditably implementing the tasks for railway transport is to apply up-to-date technologies to railway transport, build new trunk lines and improve the railway service, the message said.
