Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- Schoolchildren in Pyongyang frequent the Pyongyang Puppet Theatre in Jonsung-dong, Moranbong District during the summer vacation.

New puppet shows created by the Pyongyang Puppet Company are performed in the theatre.

A many-act puppet show "Kind Heart of the Third Son" calls upon children to do good things for society, collective and friends.

Most popular of the shows are "Ok Soe Defeats Devil", "The Baldheaded Parrot" and "Doggy Plays Cheap Tricks".

They are conducive to children's intellectual development and cultural life.

August 13 is the golden anniversary of the company.
