Pyongyang, August 14 (KCNA) -- Chilean President Sebastian Pinera, speaking at an event in Santiago on Wednesday, called for developing the country's economy by the concerted efforts.

The country's economy maintains stable growth despite the U.S. and European debt crises, he said.

Chile is not immune to the impact of the sluggish world economy, even it is strong enough to deal with the crisis, he noted, adding that only when we are united, we can develop the country.
