Tehran, August 14 (KCNA) -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Wednesday strongly condemned the British police for their harsh crackdown on protesters.

Public anger began in the UK when one hundred people gathered outside a police station to protest against the fatal shooting of a young man.

Speaking to reporters, the President described the harsh crackdown as brutal.
