Pyongyang, August 16 (KCNA) -- The International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy in East European and Central Asian Regions on August 10 posted on its Internet homepage an article titled "New theory of main force of revolution" on the 51st anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of the Songun revolutionary leadership.

The DPRK is reliably defending the socialist system despite the vicious moves of the imperialists to stifle it as it has the Songun politics, which puts forward the People's Army as the main force of revolution, and pushes forward the overall socialist construction by relying on it, the article said.

On the basis of a scientific analysis of the change of the era and the relations of social classes, Kim Jong Il defined the People's Army as the core unit and main force of revolution in his work "The Songun-based Revolutionary Line Is a Great Revolutionary Line of Our Era and an Ever-Victorious Banner of Our Revolution", the article noted.

Kim Jong Il started his Songun revolutionary leadership through his inspection of Seoul Ryu Kyong Su 105 Guards Tank Division of the Korean People's Army on August 25, 1960.

Historical experience proves that the Songun politics is, indeed, the most effective political mode which helps defeat any formidable enemy, overcome grim ordeals and difficulties and ensure the victorious advance of the revolutionary cause.
