Pyongyang, August 16 (KCNA) -- Members of civic and public organizations of south Korea including the Solidarity for Democracy, People's Life, Peaceful Reunification and Sovereignty and citizens of different circles held a rally outside Seoul Prison on August 12 denouncing the puppet authorities for their suppression of reunification activists.

The participants bitterly condemned the ruling forces for throwing reunification activists behind bars.

Rev. Han Sang Ryol, permanent advisor of the Solidarity for Progress, and other figures whom the authorities put in custody are not criminals, they said. They staged an action in demand of a meeting with them.
