Chinese acrobats and spectators highly appreciated the performance for its admirable ideological and artistic attributes.

In Korea magic is regarded as art of merit helping people cultivate creative ability and promote intellectual development.

Korea's magic art has changed just from hoodwinking to a popular art giving people pleasure and encouraging them to make great achievements in their work.

Kim Chol, vice-chairman of the Magicians Association of Korea, told KCNA that the association has steadily renewed and diversified the magic performance.

Typical of the magic pieces are Apple Harvest, Our Flourishing Life, Silk Fabrics Pour Out and Drum Sound.

A large-scale magic performance took place at May Day Stadium in Pyongyang a few months ago, demonstrating the rapid development of Korea's magic art.

The performance, including several pieces, admired the spectators.

Korea's magic pieces won top prizes at the 16th International Modern Magic Festival and other festivals.
