Pyongyang, August 17 (KCNA) -- A new wind power generator has been introduced in different areas of the DPRK as part of the effort for making use of renewable energy.

The generator, made in the DPRK, is high in economic effectiveness.

The sweep designed to stand strong wind is 1.2 times longer than the existing one in the serviceable life.

The stator is fixed in a rational way to reduce consumption of copper.

The new wind power generator has already found itself in the west coastal areas of the country, including Jungsan and Phyongwon counties, South Phyongan Province and Onchon County, Nampho City.

It is also finding its way to highlands and east coastal areas of the country.
