Pyongyang, August 18 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Federation of University Students in the 21st Century held a candlelight rally in Seoul on August 13 demanding the release of the detained students and the solution to the registration fee issue.

At the rally speakers expressed irrepressible resentment at the police for walking off dozens of students including Pak Ja Un, chairperson of the Federation, who were staging a demonstration outside the "National Assembly" on August 12. They urged the authorities to set free the detainees and immediately settle the registration fee issue.

There is no future for students unless the present regime and the "Grand National Party" are judged, they declared.

The students will take the lead in the action to judge the group of traitors without fail, braving any suppression, and carry on their dynamic actions to build a society free from worries about registration fee, their dream, they stressed.

At the end of the rally, the participants staged a demonstration.
