Pyongyang, August 19 (KCNA) -- The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean warmongers are staging madcap drill for preemptive attack on the DPRK in Phohang, North Kyongsang Province from August 15 under the pretext of "anti-terrorism."

Involved in the drill which is to last till August 25 are the marine crops affiliated with the U.S. Pacific Fleet and the south Korean puppet forces.

They are set to wage exercises for street warfare including advance and mobile operations and sharp-shooting and guerilla exercises.

The joint saber-rattling brings into bolder relief its nature of attack on the north as it is timed to coincide with Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military exercises.
