Beijing, August 18 (KCNA) -- China had a meeting in Beijing on Monday and Tuesday to discuss comprehensively inspecting the security of high-speed railways and those under construction and eliminating shortcomings.

Addressing the meeting Zhang Dejiang, a vice-premier of the State Council, called on the inspection teams to take a responsible manner and strictly deal with what may cause accidents in high-speed railway service.
