Pyongyang, August 20 (KCNA) -- The Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy released an information bulletin on August 15 to mark the 51st anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of the Songun revolutionary leadership.

The bulletin said in an article titled "Reason why a war did not break out on the Korean Peninsula" that a war did not break out on the Korean Peninsula because of the powerful national power of the DPRK.

The proposals of the DPRK including the proposal for replacing the Armistice Agreement by a lasting peace treaty and the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo aimed to achieve the reunification of the country by peaceful means, etc. enjoy the warm sympathy and support of the international community.

The peace and security of the Korean Peninsula will be firmly preserved thanks to supreme leader Kim Jong Il, guardian of peace and justice.
