Pyongyang, August 20 (KCNA) -- A Korean book, photo and handicraft exhibition took place in Harbin City, China on August 15 to mark the first anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's historic visit to China.

The exhibition featured famous works of the peerlessly great men, photos on Kim Jong Il's visit to China last year and his Songun leadership feats as well as books and photos introducing Songun Korea and handicrafts associated with creative talents of Koreans.

Present at its opening ceremony were officials of Heilongjiang Province and Harbin City, citizens, the consul general and staff members of the DPRK Consulate General in Shenyang, members of the Exhibition General Bureau delegation and Koreans in China.

Speeches were made at the ceremony.
