Pyongyang, August 20 (KCNA) -- South Korean Christians held a memorial service for Kim Dae Jung at the Christian Church in Seoul on Tuesday to mark the 2nd anniversary of the ex-president's death, south Korea's CBS reported.

Speakers appreciated Kim Dae Jung's contribution to the effort for the reconciliation between the south and the north of Korea and its peaceful reunification.

Meanwhile, south Korean Christian organizations declared that they would have memorial services for Kim every year.
